Finance Intern

REPORTS TO: Director, Financial Planning & Analysis 

TERM: June-August 2026

HOURS: 24 hours per week (In-Office)

The Finance intern will work closely with the financial planning and analysis team, gaining hands-on experience in seasonal and fiscal year financial planning, budget creation, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting. This intern will have the opportunity to develop advanced Excel skills; gain experience with financial management software; attend budget planning meetings; review financial reports; and observe the relationship between general accounting and financial planning. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist with financial modeling.
• Provide general accounting support.
• Provide support for the annual budgeting process.
• Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects.
• Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team.
• Prepare financial analysis packets for management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

• Strong preference for candidates pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, ideally rising juniors or seniors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated with a desire to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

WORK CONDITIONS: 

• Sitting for extended periods. 
• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 
• Fast-paced environment. 
• Preferred In-Office Schedule: Three days per week (Preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

COMPENSATION: 

Job Classification: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Intern

Hourly Rate: $16.60 + Weekly $30 Travel Stipend
